PDC 2013-2014  

It is the every-other-year rotation for the National High School Dance Festival to happen, and it is happening in Miami, FL this next year!!!

Meeting and Clinics are mandatory.  If you are serious about being on the company, you will make the arrangements to attend and show your potential commitment early.

MEN & LADIES always welcome to audition!!!!!

Parent Meeting: Monday April 8th 4:00 pm

Clinic: Thursday April 18th 5:00-7:00 pm

Clinic: Friday April 19th 3:00-5:00 pm

Auditions: 
Saturday April 20th 9:00 am - noon

End of Semester 1 / Term 2

Hello!

I want to apologize for my absence on Friday Jan 11th.  The previous evening I went into the after hours emergency with my son, and we were both tested positive for the bad respiratory flu A that is going around and I was strictly prohibited to go to school.

Please check your grades.
If you turned things in late, I will get them in when I go to school on Monday.
Monday is the last day to turn in any make up work.

Dance 2, 3, and Company:
Many of you have neglected to turn in a concert report!  This was something I warned everyone about at the start of the year to not forget.  This is hurting your grade.  If you also have a lot of absences or have not completed a test, this will also hurt your grade.

Feel free to email me if you have questions or want to turn in work via email.

Dance 2 and Social Dance, I will miss you and I have enjoyed having you in class!  I hope to have you in another class of mine soon!

Concert Performance ASSESSMENT

Dance Field Trip

HELLO!

If you have not done a Concert Report yet, please attend this "school excused" field trip to see the Rire-Woodbury Dance Co. Matinee Performance.

It is this Wednesday 12/12/12
We will leave Lone Peak at 10:00 AM
Concert is at 11:00 AM
We will arrive back in time for A4

Cost: $5 (even for parent chaperones)
I will be looking for about 3 chaperones to join us.

PDC Dance Concert POSTER

Your Performance is Coming Up!!!

Dance 2, Dance 3, and Social Dance will all be performing in Lone Peak Performing Dance Company's Winter Concert!


Full Dress Rehearsal is Wednesday December 5th after school!
Concert is December 6th & 7th 2012.
Show starts at 7:00pm.
Call time with warm up (for PDC, Dance 2 & 3) is at 5:00 PM on stage.

Tickets will cost $3 - $4.
More information will be posted soon concerning costumes and show order.

Please do not be absent for any classes here on out until the show.
This is required for a grade in Dance 2/3, and is in place of the cha cha technique test for social dance for those who committed to that choice.

This is going to be a lot of fun!
Remember to keep the "first thing from be the change"a secret :)
